There are many rags to riches stories that we have heard and read about but this one is unlike any that we have ever heard. S P Chauhan is a well known social activist and his exemplary work has been appreciated time and again. Today, the English version of his book ‘Sangharsh ko Salaam’ was launched. It has been written by Sundeep Saahil and apart from capturing his life’s journey it also encapsulates the contribution he has made in well being of the underprivileged, for women empowerment and for people addicted to substance abuse.

At the event, it was also announced that there is a film being made on this book and it is called ‘S P Chauhan, The struggling Man’.  Dwelling more light on the same, Prof Krishna Arora, Founder Nav Chetna Manch said, “Directed by Manoj K Jha, the film stars actor Jimmy Shergill and Yuvika Choudhary in the lead and we are happy to share that the film is already in its post production”.

The book launch was presented by Nav Chetna Manch, and it was unveiled by none other than Hon’ble Minister of social justice and empowerment, Ramdas Bandhu Athawale, who was also the chief guest of the evening. Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Prof. Krishna Arora, Founder Nav Chetna Manch, Mrs. Seema Chauhan, Actor Yashpal Sharma and comedian Sunil Pal.

Hon’able Minister Ramdas Bandhu Athawale at the book launch shared, “ S P Chauhan has dedicated his life for the betterment of the society, and has always aimed to bridge the gap between the haves and have nots.  I wish him all the very best for the film and I wish it reaches out and inspires millions”.
