Film Industry is always open for exceptional talents and Shalmira Pund is a pack of combo, not merely with bundle of talent, but she also has a killing look, sparkling eyes, good height, attractive figure and pleasing personality, in short, a perfect material for Big screen.
Besides all these qualities, Shalmira is also a very good dancer, especially she can do Western dance with ease and has a command over languages English, Hindi and Marathi her mother tongue.
During her initial stage of her career, Shalmira did coupe of modeling assignments and simultaneously also did Marathi stage plays and dramas in Pune from where she belongs, but her aim and ambition was to make her presence felt on big screen, specially Bollywood. However, she made an entry on television with Miss India TV Serial in couple of episodes (DD-UP).
Finally, Shalmira got her break in a Marathi movie titled ‘Gunthamantri’, as a second lead and thus wheels of her career began to roll rapidly.
Presently, Shalmira’s under-production film Hambarda is heading towards completion in which she is playing a lead role.
On Bollywood front, Shalmira’s debut film Teri Pyar Ki Zaroorat is on completion stage. Some of her Hindi-Marathi projects are also in the pipeline for which she needs time to reveal its details. Shalmira’s ideal actor is Nawazuddin Siddiqui and desires to work with him some day.
Other than acting, Shalmiraa is also a Vastu advisor and has a long list of clients from a common man to VIP’s. Shalmira’s predictions and calculations are always perfect and I myself agree as her Vastu tips relating to my house and films proved lucrative.
However, acting is Sharmira’s first love and is confident that one day undoubtedly she will be reckoned in the top bracket of Bollywood actresses.
